On behalf of PwC, we are recruiting for a Global Payroll Strategy Programme Manager on a 6-month contract based in London.
Join us as a Global Payroll Strategy Programme Manager:
To lead and deliver global payroll consulting and transformation solutions for multinational clients, driving operational efficiency and strategic improvement.
Manage client engagements from strategy through execution while building strong stakeholder relationships and leading high-performing teams.
What you'll do:
- Utilise a range of tools and methodologies to analyse industry trends, generate insights, develop strategic solutions, resolve operational challenges, and design future-state payroll functions
- Manage small to mid-sized workstreams and lead teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes
- Lead RFP responses for clients seeking consultancy support in defining and implementing global payroll strategies
- Identify and mitigate risks within BAU payroll cycles, implement additional control measures where required, and drive continuous improvement through lessons learned
- Manage end-to-end consulting engagements, including proposal development, project scoping, deliverable oversight, and team coordination
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback to team members while maintaining strong stakeholder and client relationships
The skills you'll need:
- Proactively manage stakeholder relationships with payroll providers and clients across multiple regions
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and multi-country operating models
- Collaborative team player with a passion for sharing knowledge and developing deeper business insights
- Proven ability to drive positive change within payroll functions, improving performance and stakeholder experience
- Demonstrated functional and technical expertise with a strong track record of success in payroll operations
