About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of People & Culture to join a fast-growing SME. This is a strategic and hands-on position where you’ll lead the people agenda and shape the culture within a dynamic, purpose-driven business. You’ll report to the senior leadership team and have autonomy to design frameworks, strengthen manager capability, and influence how the organisation grows and works together.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee people strategy, employee relations, compliance, workforce planning, succession planning, and development initiatives.
- Act as a trusted partner to managers, providing clear, pragmatic advice on hiring, performance, wellbeing, and exits.
- Design and embed effective people frameworks, including performance reviews, probation processes, and feedback tools.
- Lead strategic projects such as:
- Compensation strategy review across multiple countries.
- Rollout of a goal-setting framework for employee development.
- Structural review and expansion planning.
- Take ownership of global compliance, ensuring fairness and consistency across multiple jurisdictions.
- Champion values and strengthen belonging through everyday leadership practices.
What We’re Looking For- CIPD Level 5 or above (or equivalent experience).
- Strong HR advisory or HR business partner background.
- Experience designing and implementing people frameworks.
- In-depth knowledge of employment legislation and compliance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Passion for creating inclusive, purpose-led workplaces.
